Thoughts
I was so sad to hear about Mary's passing. I have fond memories of Mary's first visit to the Media Trust, when I was CEO there, and her encouragement to the Marketing Trust to fund our marketing training, advice, and mentors for small charities. She continued to support Media Trust's work right through to today. She was kind, funny, super-intelligent, and passionate about how marketing can make a difference. Mary was a dynamo with huge integrity and common sense and it was always a pleasure to be working with her. In the 25+ years I knew her I found discussions with her interesting and thought provoking. I had been trying to contact her in recent weeks and had no suucess, Now i know the reason why, she clearly kept her troubles hidden and never complained, such was her stoicism. She will be hugely missed by me and many others and not least by the CIM.
